Update

A month has passed, but not much has changed. I managed to get a tonne of shots out at the Caitlins not so long ago but haven't had the time to process them. I'm hoping to get some sweet as shots of student life in Invercargill, because it's really quite an experience and to be able to convey some of the moments that happen down here in the south, would be a wonderful feat indeed. I'm also considering getting a bit of practice by doing some live band photography, as there's endless opportunities down here.

It seems the days of my rural landscapes are gone, but I will make an effort to get some when I go home in June. Theres still plenty of unprocessed images from the Waikato on my PC that may pop up here and there.

I feel my new PC is helping my photography a lot. Having a bigger and better monitor is causing me to see endless flaws in the work I processed on my old laptop, and it's really great not having to wait 10 minutes to open a RAW file or create an HDR anymore.

Anyway, to conclude, my feature this week goes out to my favourite Deviant at the moment, *Furiousxr

Double Degree

From now on I'm going to have HEAPS less time to work on my photography, as I've taken on a double degree. I'm now working on a 'Bachelor or Audio Production' AND a 'Bachelor of Contemporary Music' full time. I'm still not rushed off my feet, but when I finally get an evening job I will be.

Aside from that, not much is new. I'm still trying to work out my Rubiks Revenge cube, and I'm still waiting on my new pc. That should be here within a week or two though. I love it when things like that arrive in the mail.

Bluff

I'm going to Bluff on a sunny day for lunch with my camera. If I don't bring back some nice photos you may grill me.

Also I'd like to thank EVERYONE who's commented, faved or even just looked at my deviation "Rapture". I can't say I expected it to be such a success.

Epiphany

I'm delighted to announce that *Lethalnightmarez and *LucerasNight collaborated to draw one of my works with pastel chalks. The piece was drawn as a late christmas present for *LucerasNight's mother and I'm sure she must love it because they've done a wonderful job. I wish I could draw like them! :D

Invercargill

I'm really struggling with having nothing to photograph but urban settings. I've gone from living in rural Waikato to living on the main street of Invercargill and suddenly theres all these buildings and people in the way of my shots.

Unlike my previous journals I don't really have anything interesting to comment on. Since arriving a week and a half ago, I've been outside with my camera twice, but the first time I got rained on, and the second time I had to stop because some shady guys in a boyracer were bothering me.

Invercargill

Invercargill is... nice.

So it looks like I'm stuck here with only a matte green toyota corona, some soap, and other important possessions... like 4 rubiks cubes.

This should be fun.

Sorry about the recent lack of submissions. I don't really have an excuse but I'll blame it on moving to the other end of the country anyway. After all, I was deserted in the middle of a town I'd never been to 4 hours after arriving.

It's colder here. There are many bogans. Still haven't seen any sign of Tim Shadbolt. Don't EVER cross the stream.

Ok, I'm going outside with my camera now so you can all stop wailing "WEAR IS FOTOS! YU TAKE FOTOS! Y THAR NONE? GET FOTOS!"
